PYDS Welcomes Volunteers. There are opportunities in all of our programme areas, working with children, women or in the community, or in administrative support for the Society.
Possible volunteering opportunities include:
- With Children:
- Teacher training
- Implement new initiatives with our children.
- Work in our library to improve literature awareness.
- Administrative work.
- Share computer and software knowledge with our office staff and students.
- Website work.
- Assist in designing promotional material.
- Suggest a specific project.
Preferred skills
- Dedication and commitment to working with rural children and women
- Creativity
- Computer skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
If working on specific projects where specific skills are needed, some relevant experience. ie. Teaching experience, Website design, Business management. |
