Funding is entirely through donations and we warmly invite you to do so. Donors can choose any of the following options to help the project on its way.

A). The cost of sponsoring a child is:

The sponsorship money would be used for the following:-

• Paying the school fees, to the extent that they are not subsidised by the Schools.
• Funding the cost of the uniforms, books, shoes and other incidentals.
• Subsidising bus fares.
• Supplying a balanced meal each day.
• Covering the expense for the teachers.
• Employing individuals to manage accounts and maintain the computer lab, classrooms and library.
• Subsidising all stationery and study material.
• Subsidising the cost of Medical expenses incurred by the children.

B. The Scheme would have in its employ, 24 teachers during the year 2010-2011. Typically, teachers are young people preparing for their Masters Degree or for other Career preparation/Enhancement programmes.
C. Donations of any amount made to the Society to help meet its annual operational expenses. Donors generally pay Rs. 15,000/- every year for this purpose in Annual, Quarterly or Monthly installments. While these are 'Standard' Sponsorships we also colect 'Full sponsorships which is Rs.30,000 per year and 'Half ' Sponsorships at Rs. 8,000 per Year.

D.An Endowment Fund is being created to finance the activity on an on-going basis. We invite contributions of Rs.4.50 Lacs for 'Full sponsorships,Rs.2.50 Lacs for 'Standard' Sponsorships and Rs. 1,00,000 Lac for 'Half' Sponsorships

E. We also invite sponsorship for our capital expenses connected with the Programme. Just now we are looking for funds to acquire two buses needed to bus our children from the Learning center to the Schoolan/or their Homes. The outlay involved on each of the buses is Rs.8.5 lacs

We wish to reiterate that the Society does not suffer any management costs, since these services are voluntary and honorary. The overheads are tightly controlled and are nominal. Day to day management is in the hands of a Secretary who is entirely honorary.

All donations to the Society are eligible for exemption under section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act. Recently, we have been approved for the benefits under Section 35AC of the Income Tax Act. Donors may kindly complete the form appended and mail it to the address indicated along with the remittance. Remittances may be by way of a draft, a banker's cheque or simply a cheque drawn on your account in your city/country. Our bankers will collect these instruments for us.

The Society is registered with the Registrar of Societies, Uttranchal (Reg. No. 401/2003-2004) and the accounts presented to the Board of Governors, the Registrar and the Income Tax department.
