THE FUTURE - OUR DREAMS: The attempt is to help the Community grow with employment opportunities provided to every adult, both male and female. The women are now employed and to help the men, plans are to launch a new scheme to provide income earning capacity to every household and so strengthen the entire community. This project, known as Gau Shakti is briefly conceived as follows: The intention is to help many families in the Community own two high-yielding cows, so that they earn a regular income. To make this viable, arrangements will have to be made to provide feed, concentrates, veterinary aid and artificial insemination facilities conveniently near their homes. The intention is to collect the milk and convert it promptly into cheese/paneer, for consumption in the local market. We are persuading the local Panchayat to gift a suitable piece of land to the Society for this purpose. No progress can however be made with this project until this land is acquired.

Some schemes would also need to be implemented to address the needs of the young adults who did not have an opportunity to sustain a meaningful education during their growing years. We had experimented with a few Young Adult Education Programmes in the past but without adequate preparation and resources. They deserve to be tried again with better groundwork.

An Infotainment Programme aimed at the entire Community dealing with social issues can bring in hygiene, sanitation, environmental awareness, child development, equality of the sexes, core values for good living etc into the Community. This need not be expensive but will need investments.
